Governor's Office Outlines Priorities Ahead of Next Legislative Session

The Governor's office released an early outline of legislative priorities this week ahead of the next full session, signaling a focus on housing affordability, workforce development, and public safety funding as central themes for the coming year.

Administration officials said the housing package will build on incremental measures passed in recent sessions, with a renewed push for zoning reform incentives aimed at increasing the state's housing supply near transit corridors. Workforce proposals are expected to expand on existing apprenticeship and community college partnership programs.
